It’s a good idea to play the optional tutorial to learn how to interact with objects and characters.

Chapter names and locations in each section are tied to the names on the map in the journal.

A dictionary icon over an area indicates a message needing translating.

Documents for the Journal and most non-listed objects that need collecting are highlighted in red.

Hint: There is a Beyond in every new scene. They are also not numbered as you may encounter them in a different order. They are not mentioned in the description of what to do in the scene.

Beyond objects are outlined in white with a blue border in the screen shots.

Back and forth trips to locations are kept to a minimum.

This is a goal-oriented guide so many objects are not placed or picked up until needed.

Arrow with gear – Interact with an object.Ī short clip explains the background and introduces the story line for play.

The bar turns into a Skip bar for most puzzles. The hint system is also handy to help find areas to search.

Hint/Skip Bar – Clicking will show a random fragment in a scene.

Switch to Use to view a scrollable list of available items. Placing the cursor on an item shows the shape of the fragments. The Find bar shows a complete image of a hidden item.

Find/Use List – Click the word (Find or Use) to switch between the lists.

Menu – Continue, Options or Save and Exit to main menu.

There is also a map that shows your current location, unlocked areas and areas needing attention.

Journal/Map – Clicking an object can add clues or information.

Once chosen, the mode can only be changed by creating a different profile.

Difficulty Mode – Selected after the initial introductory scene is viewed.
